This was our second Project Smile, in which I’m honored to say tripled in size from our first initial project. Besides having an absolute blast, we were successful in spreading smiles to the city of Bryant Arkansas.
It’s amazing, really, the difference we can make. Some people make beautiful music, paint remarkable pictures, or take the lead in crucial political marches, in attempting to change the world. We, we simply stood along the side walks, decorated our poster boards with beautiful inspiration, and revealed it to the world.
What ever your niche, whatever way you choose to inspire, to lead, to change for the better, do it, because despite how insignificant you may view yourself to be, what you’re capable of has enough power to shake the world.

OK mommas, and daddies, we’ve all complained, at some point or another,about life lacking an instruction manual.
Correct?
Oh how much easier our lives would be if we simply had some form of wisdom, instruction, some sort of physical book that we can reference.
If you’re religious, the bible does a great job in providing relief, and inspiration.
However…..
I still believe that an actual manual compiled of specific experiences and lessons would benefit all children, specifically yours,awaiting the challenges of life. So, I have decided to put together an actual “instruction manual” for my child.
Supplies you will need:
- A journal/ notebook
- a pen
- any other decorative stuff you would like to use
Ok, so what do you do next after you have beautified your manual?
You write.
See a quote that touches your heart?
write it down.
Going through a tough time with your relationship?
write down things that help you stay strong.
Feeling like you’re about to break?
write down all the reasons why you shouldn’t.
Have a dream, awaiting your catch?
write down, in detail, everything you’re anticipating to achieve. Then, write down all the ways you’re going to achieve them.
*Do not forget to write all the reasons why…. you should achieve them—essential.
Devote a page, or five, to “life lessons.”
Jot down all of the implanted lessons you have learned throughout the years, either from your own misfortunes or the ones you have witnessed.
Devote a page or two, for “My wishes for you.”
Use your heart, deeply on this section, and write down all of your “wishes” for your child. Maybe you wish that they always acknowledge how special they are, or perhaps you hope they strive, always, to be the best them imaginable.
* Be sure to add anything else that you feel will benefit your child, personally.
We are all aware of how difficult adolescence can be, and unfortunately,the transition into aduthood isn’t much easier. Our children rely on guidance, wisdom, and love. With this manual, you’re preparing them for the obstacles they are sure to endure and giving them the strength they are just as sure to need.
And more than anything, you are suppying them with love.
